Tricel Novo works in three stages
Stage 1: the primary settlement chamber
The grease and mud will be separated from the water in this chamber. The grease will stay on the surface, and the mud will go to the bottom of the tank.
Stage 2: the aeration chamber
In this compartment, the aerobic bacteria will digest the pollution from the wastewater.
Stage 3: final settlement chamber
The mud residues are transferred to the primary chamber with an airlift system in this final chamber.

Distributions boxes
Distribution boxes help distribute pre-treated effluent evenly into drainage trenches or soakaways. Our distribution boxes are gravity fed. They connect to a wastewater treatment plant (or septic tank) and distribute the pre-treated effluent to the drainage fields/soakaways.
Risers are available and used for deeper installations. When a wastewater treatment plant (or septic tank) has to be installed at a deeper depth, risers are available to provide access for desludging and maintenance of the systems in place.
Pumped outlet
All Tricel Novos are available with a pumped outlet option. The pump gets housed in the final settlement chamber of the plant. If required, please get in touch with your Tricel Novo supplier. Contact us.

What is PE ?
PE represents the initials of Population Equivalent. Population equivalent: conversion value which aims at expressing non-domestic applications in terms of domestic loading based on 1 person creates 60 g/day BOD5 and 150l/day.

When used properly, the plant equipment and components are specifically designed or chosen to perform effectively in the Tricel facility. The guarantee is valid from the date of purchase. Is it possible for more than one house to share a wastewater treatment plant?
Various plants are available from Tricel for different options. Discussing this with your local council is best to determine a suitable solution. Contact us.
Is the plant noisy?
There is a slight “hum” from the air compressor when standing close to the plant. When installed correctly, the noise level will not be a nuisance.
What happens if I get a power cut?
The plant should not be affected by a temporary power outage. After a power cut, checking the plant to ensure it has restarted is essential. It may have an alarm after powering on, but it will fix itself after a few minutes.
In situations where gravity drainage cannot be used, pumped options are available The power outage shouldn’t last too long when you have pump options as power is required to remove the treated liquid. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Is there an alarm in the plant?
An audible and visual alarm is standard and will notify you if there is a problem with the air compressor and discharge pump (pumped plants only), but this does not replace regular inspections. A maintenance agreement is recommended with us to ensure the plant’s optimal performance. Contact us.
